Data deletion

Signal is operated by KP NINE (SMC-PRIVATE) LIMITED, trading as The Sports Collective. You can stop Signal collecting your data, and have the data we already hold deleted, in either of these ways.

1. Disconnect a social account

This stops new data being collected. A workspace administrator can remove the account in Signal. You can also revoke Signal’s access from the platform at any time:

• YouTube / Google: myaccount.google.com/permissions, choose Signal, then Remove access.
• Facebook: Settings, Business Integrations, then remove Signal.
• Instagram: Settings, Apps and Websites, then remove Signal.
• TikTok: Settings, Security and permissions, Manage app permissions, then remove Signal.

2. Ask us to delete your data

Email info@thesportscollective.org with the subject “Delete my Signal data”. Please write from the email address on your Signal account and say whether you want:

• one connected account’s data deleted, or
• your whole workspace and every account in it deleted.

We will confirm it is you, delete the data, and email you when it is done, within 30 days. This removes the stored metrics, content details, reports and access tokens for what you asked us to delete. Copies in routine backups are overwritten on the normal backup cycle, and we may keep limited security records where we need them to protect the service or meet legal duties.

If you signed in through Facebook, Instagram or TikTok only to connect an account, writing to this address is enough, with the account name or handle in the message.
